Today is Ash Wednesday. There is a possibly record breaking snowstorm moving through Iowa since early this morning and it is still going. This Lent I think we should read the book Mother Teresa: Come be my Light. It is a book featuring many of Mother Teresa's correspondences with her spiritual directors. In these correspondences she tells of her great darkness which allows her to suffer in order to win souls to "satiate the thirst of Christ" for these souls. Mother Teresa gives all for Christ and does not deny him anything.
